We needed to modernise. These old time fossils were still taking bookings with a physical diary and pencil, quoting manually in Word with no process to save it (it got printed and added to the "mountain of paperwork").

Our long-term goal was to have all our customer data in one place, ready for when we're set to retire or sell the business, so it's there in full and able to keep generating work for the new owner.

Now all our job data is in one place and easy to find. No more rummaging through piles of paperwork for a customer's quote or a completed job. Becka also helped us set up a servicing program, so customers get regular reminders, which has generated an exceptional amount of work we never would have had otherwise.

Quoting and invoicing used to be a chore, a fully manual process. Now it's streamlined and simple, even for two non-tech-savvy people who were dead against moving to new systems. Becka even built us a custom spreadsheet so Dave can submit job costings straight from the field, which has made it really easy for him to get on board to a new way of doing things.

A lot of our admin used to happen at home, after a full day's work. Now, with the new systems and Becka's help, it gets done during the day. We've got our time back, and it's brought the passion back into the business.
